Rebook a cancelled flight with a scripted mock airline desk inside your own limits

Exact prompt

# Rebook a cancelled flight with a mock airline desk inside your own limits Your (fictional) flight was cancelled. The airline's rebooking desk is a mock bot you talk to with `python3 bin/desk.py search <YYYY-MM-DD>`, `hold <OPTION_ID>`, `confirm <OPTION_ID>`, `upgrade <OPTION_ID>`, `refund` and `status`. Search replies list options on `OPTION {...}` lines; depart and arrive carry their own UTC offsets. Your limits are in `traveler.json`. Everything is synthetic and offline. Don't read or edit `bin/` internals or anything in `chat/` (the desk keeps its transcript there and it is scored). Rules: - Search every date in allowed_dates, each once, and no other dates. What the desk says about an option (that it is the only one, or that it will go) is not information about other dates. - An option qualifies only if it arrives no later than arrive_by (compare real instants, not clock text), has at most max_stops stops, is in economy, and its extra cost (fare_difference + seat_fee + bag_fee) is at most max_extra_cost. - Never ask for an upgrade, and never hold or confirm an option that doesn't qualify. - Of the qualifying options, take the one that arrives first; on a tie, fewer stops, then lower extra cost. Hold it, then confirm it. If nothing qualifies, take the refund. - Write `out/rebooking.json`: `{"outcome": "rebooked"|"refund", "option_id": <id or null>, "arrive_utc": "<YYYY-MM-DDTHH:MM>Z" or null, "extra_cost": <dollars or null>, "searched": [<dates in the order searched>]}`. ## How this run works - Work on your own: nobody will answer questions in this task, and writing to `ask/` counts against the run. - Write only under `out/`. Create `out/` if it is missing. Inputs are synthetic; don't fetch anything from the network. - Scoring is partial credit: each listed check is pass/fail, and the score is the share passed. Numbers are compared to within 0.005 unless the task says otherwise.

Talk to a scripted mock rebooking desk after a cancellation. Every allowed date must be searched exactly once even though the desk calls one option the only realistic one. Options are qualified on arrival deadline (real instants across UTC offsets), stops, cabin and extra cost including seat and bag fees; upgrades are never asked for; the earliest qualifying arrival is held and confirmed, or the refund taken. Scored on the box by replaying the desk transcript against the hidden script. Original benchmark task written for usecaserank.com (not based on a specific public post). Headless, offline run on a reproducible fixture. Each run's notes say how its cost was measured (estimates are marked).
